OMSI TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition
Client Objective
OMSI needed projection and media playback support for an immersive space inside TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition in Portland. The goal was to support a visual experience that helped visitors feel connected to the story, not just the display. The project is a strong example of immersive exhibit AV designed to support storytelling, visitor flow, and reliable daily operation.
The exhibit combines authentic artifacts, historical storytelling, and large-format media to create a more immersive visitor experience. Because Portland is the first U.S. city to host this version of the exhibit and video experience, the installation needed to feel polished, reliable, and easy for the OMSI team to operate.
Benefits and Results
MeyerPro provided projection and playback support that helped turn the media environment into a stable, repeatable part of the exhibit experience.
The system supported a continuous visual presentation inside the immersive space, helping visitors move through the story with strong visuals and clear media timing. For an exhibit like this, the technology just needs to fade away in the background. It should support the atmosphere, the pacing, and the emotional weight of the content, but not be loud and obvious to the viewer. The goal is to FEEL like you are inside the ship or walking along the deck on a crisp morning.
The result was an immersive video environment that helped OMSI bring a rare and meaningful exhibit experience to the Portland community.
