Client Objective

Microsoft MCAPS Start 2026 brought a large internal audience together at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle for a high-profile corporate program built around presentations, content, and live stage moments.

For the video team, the challenge was scale. This awesome experience included large LED surfaces throughout the arena, while the production system behind them needed to support broadcast cameras, playback, screen management, monitoring, record systems, and signal distribution across a large venue.

The goal was to make a technically complex arena environment feel warm and welcoming for the entire Microsoft team at this internal event.

Benefits and Results

MeyerPro supported the event as the large-scale video production partner, handling the systems behind the LED environment, cameras, switching, playback, screen management, monitoring, and signal distribution.

A huge LED system helped turn the arena into one connected visual environment, with content carried across the main stage, suspended displays, and additional screens throughout the venue.

Camera coverage was built to operate inside this large arena. Broadcast cameras, long-lens positions, PTZ cameras, cinema cameras, and POV cameras gave the production team the flexibility to cover speakers, stage moments, and the wider arena from multiple angles.

Behind the scenes, the bigger challenge was keeping everything connected and controlled. Switching, playback, screen management, recording, monitoring, and fiber distribution all had to work together across the venue without becoming a distraction.

The result was an incredibly professional video environment that felt unified from the seats, even though a significant amount of engineering was happening behind the scenes by a team of talented technicians.

  • LED: ROE GP 2.6, AOTO CLD 1.5, and ROE Topaz-C 2.6

  • LED processing: 15 Brompton Tessera SX40 processors and 57 Tessera XD distribution units

  • Cameras: Six Sony HDC-5500 broadcast cameras, Sony Venice 2, Panasonic AW-UE150 PTZ, Marshall POV, and Sony FX3

  • Lenses: Fujinon broadcast, wide-angle, 107x, and 125x long-lens packages

  • Switching: Ross Carbonite Ultra60 with TouchDrive control
  • Screen management: Christie Spyder X80, Analog Way Aquilon C+ / RS4, and Barco E2
  • Record and playback: EVS XT-VIA, IPDirector, XFile 3, and AJA Ki Pro systems
  • Monitoring and prompting: Broadcast production monitors, video shading systems, confidence displays, and teleprompter packages
